Music industry CEO with 36 years commercial, marketing, strategic and operational experience, gained through working at majors, independents and startups, including senior leadership roles at Association for Electronic Music, Association of Independent Music, Universal Music, BMG, Kobalt/AWAL and Audio Network.

Silvia is CEO and Founder of Voicebox Music Consulting, working with artists, DJ-producers and their teams, record labels and music tech companies, all with the commitment to building a better, more equitable, sustainable and future-focused music industry with the music creators at its heart.

Silvia’s long, varied music career has embraced all areas of the global music business ecosystem; recorded music, publishing, performance and broadcast, music technology systems development, sync and licensing, royalties and rights management, physical and digital retail sales, direct to fan, artist development and more. Through this journey, she has developed a unique overview and insight into the complex infrastructure and interdependencies of the global music business, alongside a vast and varied international network of industry professionals. She was honored in Billboard’s Indie Power Players list in 2023 and has received numerous nominations for the Music Week Women in Music Awards in the last decade.

A passionate dance/electronic music fan and long-time junglist, Silvia was part of an early all-female DJ collective ‘Femi-9-Product’ from the mid 90s, playing monthly nights and festivals across the UK, alongside promoting multi-room/multi-genre nights around London as part of dance music collectives Triology and WOT. In 2020 Silvia co-founded electronic music label/publisher #remarqabl with the mission to support and nurture under-represented producers/songwriters from female, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities.

Throughout her career, she’s been a passionate campaigner for EDI, social justice, sustainability, neurodiversity advocacy and tackling the music industry mental health crisis. Silvia is Board member, Advisor and Mentor for a number of non-profit organisations including Association for Electronic Music, Last Night A DJ Saved My Life, In Place of War, Fairplay Group and Berklee Valencia.
