Dr. Amélie Anglade is a Machine Learning and Music Information Retrieval specialist with over 20 years of experience. She began her career in large R&D labs such as Philips Research, Sony CSL, and CNRS, before obtaining a Ph.D. in MIR from Queen Mary University of London. In 2011, she was the first music machine learning hire at SoundCloud where she worked on audio fingerprinting and discovery features. Amélie has since focused on delivering AI/ML solutions to Music Tech startups, larger companies and institutions, primarily as a freelancer/consultant. She is now Head of Machine Learning at seeqnc, where she leads the R&D efforts in real-time music recognition technologies, with a particular focus on AI-generated music detection.
