Thomas Zandrowicz

Thomas Zandrowicz is a music industry entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience, and the founder & CEO of Beam for Music, a platform that helps rights holders monitor and optimize their royalty flows across streaming, broadcast, SVOD, and live performance.

Thomas began his career at Mixcloud, where he contributed to platform growth and strategic partnerships at the intersection of streaming and community-building. He then joined Capitol Records and later 22D Music, where he developed expertise in audiovisual rights and worked closely on music for film and TV productions.

At Universal Music Publishing, Thomas deepened his knowledge of music rights management and international catalog operations, working with major repertoires and sub-publishing structures. Over the years, he specialized in music tracking, spending more than eight years manually identifying and reconciling music usage across fragmented and opaque data sources. This hands-on experience revealed how inefficient and error-prone existing systems were—especially for independent creators and smaller publishers.

Motivated by these challenges—and a personal experience where his own music was broadcast on television without generating any royalties—Thomas launched Beam for Music in 2018. The platform is now used by over 30 clients, including Universal, Sony, and Warner, and has become a reference in automated rights tracking and royalty transparency.

Today, Beam is entering a new phase of international growth, with active expansion underway in Germany, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and the United States. These markets were chosen for their strong musical ecosystems and strategic collecting societies, such as GEMA, PRS, SAMRO, and CAPASSO. Thomas is leading this expansion to bring data-driven transparency and royalty efficiency to a global scale.
