Estella Reed

Estella Reed is a driving force at the intersection of music, media, and technology. She co-founded the AIMI Conference, which in March 2025 launched the UK’s first AI-focused summit for the Media and Creative industries, and the AI in Media Institute (www.aimediainstitute.org), focussing on empowering creative industries with AI to navigate the future of AI in media—ethically, responsibly, creatively, and together. From education and policy to jobs and events, it's a community shaping tomorrow’s creative landscape.

Estella spent 20 years in the tech start-up world before returning to her roots (originally a classically trained musician) and helped build Fuel the Music, a grassroots initiative supporting unsigned artists and independent venues. Alongside her passion for music, she has built a strong reputation for supporting founders, helping them grow and scale start-ups, advising on strategy, building teams and 'all things people, talent, culture and operations'.

Today, Estella is focused on expanding the AI in Media Institute through partnerships, events and sponsorships, curating the upcoming AIMI Conference 2026, and helping to launch a new MusicTech startup reinventing A&R for the digital era with early stage hit identification, funding emerging tracks in real time and rewarding artists fairly.

Between speaking on stages and moving to beats, Estella is passionate about building ecosystems where creativity and technology thrive — and about connecting with collaborators who share her vision for the future of music and media and ultimately 'a fair future for creatives'.
