Mark Meyer

Mark is an international artist manager and music marketing specialist with over 25 years of experience in the music industry. With a strong foundation in labels and distribution, he transitioned full-time into independent artist management in 2023, where his global experience and vision brought him to work with acclaimed Japanese musician Ichiko Aoba and more recently, British-Brazilian artist Liana Flores.

Since coming on board, he has played a pivotal role in the development of Aoba’s career worldwide, setting up an independent network around her label hermine, which she launched in 2020 to create a more direct and personal connection with her audience.

Prior to management, Mark spent over a decade at [PIAS], one of Europe’s leading independent music companies. As Senior Manager of International Marketing, he spearheaded campaigns for a diverse roster that included artists Damon Albarn, Arlo Parks, First Aid Kit, Flume and Agnes Obel. His expertise spans digital strategy, DSP and YouTube promotion, social media marketing, and coordinating international campaigns across multiple genres and territories.

Fluent in Japanese and deeply attuned to Japanese culture, Mark brings a unique ability to bridge Western and Asian markets. With a proven track record of delivering innovative, world-class campaigns and a passion for connecting artists with audiences worldwide, he continues to shape global careers at the intersection of creativity, culture, and commerce.
