AQUA-HÖFE BERLIN

ABOUT THE VENUE

MUSIC FRONTIERS takes place in Berlin-Kreuzberg at the historical AQUA-Höfe areal, an important nuclei for artists, creative people and start-ups in Berlin.

Almost 125 years of architectural history come together in this classic, industrial estate which was built between 1893 and 1898. The best-known product of the then F. Butzke-Bernhard Joseph AG was called ‘AQUA’ - one of the first and for a long time most successful flush valves in the world. Later, the world-famous trademark became part of the company name: AQUA-Butzke Werke AGT. Aqua-Butzke AG eventually ceased production in 1997.

FIRST CAME THE MUSIC

In 2007, the Ritter Butzke founders organised partys on a irregular basis in the back-then abandoned place. In the years that followed, Ritter Butzke became a cultural hotspot and world-famous club. Today, the venue consists of many floors, rooms all of which are beautifully and completely differently designed with an inner- and outer-courtyard area.

The perfect place for this gathering of visionairies, innovators and bright music minds.

There are limited parking spaces near the venue which are usually subject to a charge.

Finding a parking space in this area of Berlin-Kreuzberg is quite a matter of luck.

We recommend using public transport.

Take the subway U8 or the bus M29 or 248 until the station "Moritzplatz".

It's a 5 minute walk (400m) from the station to the main entrance of MUSIC FRONTIERS.

ACCESSIBILITY

The subway station "Moritzplatz " has no elevator from the platform, unfortunatelly.

If you come with a wheelchair, we recommend taking the bus M29.

All venues at AQUA-HÖFE and Ritter Butzke are

accessible with a wheelchair.

The bathroom is wheelchair-accessible.

Unfortunately, animals of any kind may not be taken into the venues.

When purchasing a discounted ticket for a person with a disability (e.g. proof of a B in the ID card), a free ticket can be booked for the accompanying person.
