Aliena (ahh-lee-YAY-naa) Haig has over a decade of arts, media and communications experience. Raised internationally across North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, she has continued to work globally in the cultural, musical, environmental and social impact sectors.

With a career beginning as an interview producer at Al Jazeera English in Qatar, she has led communications for global music convening WOMEX; for Deutsche Grammophon's streaming platform STAGE+ and at the Academy for Impact through Music.

Now, she is the Head of Global Engagement and Cultural Strategy at Classical:NEXT. A frequent moderator, facilitator and event host, her favourite thing to do is ask questions, dig deep to find answers and find pathways that combine the best parts of each sector.
