As Senior Manager Data & AI Programs at GEMA, I have been working in IT for the past three years. My focus is on the strategic development of data and artificial intelligence, as well as on exploring how we can use both effectively for GEMA, its members, and the music industry.

During this time, I have led various strategic data and AI projects – from selecting and introducing suitable AI tools, to integrating AI into our core processes, to identifying new areas of application for our data. I find the direct connection to the music industry particularly exciting, as it is currently undergoing significant change driven by technological developments, new business models, and the use of generative AI.

Before joining GEMA, I spent five years at Fraunhofer Venture. There, I supported deep-tech start-ups in further developing their technologies and successfully establishing themselves in the market. This experience gave me a strong start-up spirit that I continue to bring to my work today: staying curious, trying things out, learning quickly, and turning innovative ideas into concrete applications.
